It seems I have found the La Brea Tar Pit of coffee, the holy grail for joe junkies. Dark Canyon Coffee is a local roaster that sells its magic to area coffee shops. They sell such a large volume of beans that most coffee bought by the public was roasted that morning. The employee helping me scooped my order from the roaster's hopper. The beans were so fresh that the bag was warm. No joke, this is some of the best coffee I have tasted...but we will see what happens when I brew it myself ;)
